Please keep in mind some of the alternative platforms getting mentioned aren’t made to handle big waves of new users nor made to support large userbases, and that won’t change overnight. These smaller platforms, like soup.io and pillowfort.io, are good sites on their own but they won’t be a suitable replacement for entire tumblr communities unless major server upgrades and staff hires happen.
