i’ve gotten spoiled by a following on tumblr and forgot just how hard it is to get people to read your fic if you don’t have a recognizable name. I did a fic for the stevetony exchange and even though I have gotten some lovely feedback it’s definitely way way less read than a fic attached to my account. this is not to complain, it’s just to say:

to all you fic writers out there without a lot of followers or subscribers or without a recognizable name, thank you for writing. you’re not appreciated enough but you contribute so much to fandom and i’m grateful for that

It is good to occasionally post something on Anon and remember how hard it is to get people to read someone new.
